I, Floyd are a UK-based Pink Floyd tribute band, who re-create the sounds and atmosphere of a live performance by Pink Floyd.
The 9 members of I, Floyd, all seasoned gigging musicians, perform songs from most stages of Pink Floyd’s career, with an accuracy, feel and energy that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, whether you’re a long-time aficionado or just discovering the world’s greatest band. Moreover, an extensive repertoire allows I,Floyd to ring the changes from one (usually, 2.5-hour) performance to the next.
Pink Floyd’s live shows thrilled the audience with superb sound quality; and so it is with I, Floyd. The band has its own powerful but musical PA system, operated by a dedicated sound engineer.
Pink Floyd were synonymous with breath-taking light shows. I, Floyd’s dedicated lighting engineer follows suit with a custom lighting rig.
I, Floyd are based in Surrey/south west London but can easily be persuaded to travel further afield. Why, we snap our fingers at journeying to Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and even to Oxfordshire and Essex, though here be dragons. In short, anywhere in and around London and the south-east is good for us.
